Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Handyman/Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks and minor repairs, ensuring our projects are completed to the highest standards. If you’re a proactive individual with a wide range of handyman skills and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including drywall repair, light carpentry, painting preparation, and minor electrical/plumbing work.
• Repair Work: Address small repairs and fix issues as they arise on job sites, ensuring a seamless and safe environment.
• Project Support: Assist the painting crew with prep work, including sanding, filling, and caulking surfaces.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure work areas are kept clean and hazard-free.
• Tool Management: Properly use and maintain tools and equipment, reporting any issues or needs for repair.
• Client Interaction: Occasionally interact with clients on job sites, addressing any immediate concerns and providing updates on tasks.
• Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed to support the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a related field.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in basic carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and minor electrical/plumbing work.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Tools: Must have access to reliable transportation and a basic set of tools; company tools will be provided as needed.
• Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to varying tasks and job sites.
