Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our team. The Production Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our painting projects, ensuring that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple painting projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of painters and subcontractors, providing guidance, support, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Scheduling: Coordinate and manage project schedules, allocating resources effectively and ensuring that all projects are adequately staffed.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality standards are met, and address any issues promptly.
- Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the production phase, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability on all jobs.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly and effectively resolve any issues that arise during the production process, minimizing delays and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, team performance, and any significant challenges or successes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or production management, preferably in the painting or construction industry.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of painting processes, materials, and techniques, with the ability to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Technology: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana), CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.
